ITINERARY:

DAY 1, DEPART USA
Our pilgrimage begins as we leave Home town Airport for an overnight flight to Lisbon. Dinner and breakfast are served on board.
Day 2, ARRIVE LISBON – SANTAREM –FATIMA
After arrival to Lisbon, join an orientation tour of Lisbon, including a visit to Church of St. Antony. Continue to the town of Santarem for a short visit, one of the oldest cities in the world. We will walk through the narrow streets to the Church of St Stephen, containing the oldest recorded Eucharistic miracle. Behold the 750 years old Holy Miracle of Santarem, a relic of the Bleeding Host. Stolen by a woman in payment to a sorcerer, the host begins to emit a brilliant beam of light and began to profusely bleed. Reverently returned to the church of St Stephen, this miracle has been on continuous display since 1269. In the late afternoon, we drive to nearby Fatima, the location of the Blessed Mother who appeared in 1917 to three simple shepherd children and exhorted mankind to pray for world peace. After settling into your hotel, evening mass at the Basilica and afterwards, you may participate in the candlelight procession or relax. Dinner and overnight in Fatima
Day 3, FATIMA
After breakfast, we will celebrate morning Mass at the Little Chapel of the Apparitions. We will tour Fatima and see the Basilica, site of Francesco and Jacinta’s graves; the Hamlet of Aljustrel, where the children lived; and Valinhos, the site of Our Lady’s appearance after the children’s return from prison. Follow the Stations of the Cross along the Via Sacra (The Sacred Way) was built by Hungarian refugees and culminates in the Chapel of Calvary, which overlooks all of Fatima. Join pilgrims from around the world in an evening candlelight procession to pray the rosary. Don’t forget your white handkerchief for the Adios farewell, when thousands of pilgrims wave a loving farewell to the statue of Our Lady of the Rosary. In the late afternoon watch the video presentation. Dinner and overnight in Fatima.
Day 4, FATIMA- OUR LADY OF PENAFRANCIA SALAMANCA
After breakfast, we will celebrate morning Mass at the Little Chapel of the Apparitions. We will depart for Salamanca, Spain. On the way we will visit places related to Our Lady of Penafrancia. Dinner and overnight in Salamanca
Day 5, SALAMANCA- LOURDES
After breakfast, we will drive through the Pyrenees Mountains to Lourdes. Evening mass at the Basilica in Lourdes. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes.
Day 6, LOURDES.
After breakfast morning mass at the Grotto. Participate in the walking tour of Lourdes and Way of Cross. Lourdes is the birthplace of St. Bernadette to whom Our Lady appeared in 1858 near the Grotto of Massabielle. Take time for personal Devotions, drink
Holy water, visit the Miraculous Baths and enjoy a video presentation telling the story. St. Bernadette‘s House. Participate in the evening Candlelight Procession. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes
Day 7, LOURDES- NANTES
After breakfast, we will have a scenic drive with many stops to Nantes area for dinner and overnight.
Day 8, NANTES- MT. ST. MICHELLE
After breakfast we will drive to Mt. St. Michelle. After arrival join the tour of Mt. St. Michel and see the “Marvel of the West.” Legend says in the 8th century the Archangel St. Michael appeared to the local Bishop and ordered him to build a chapel on top of a 258 foot mount. The result is one of medieval Europe’s masterpieces. Dinner and overnight in Mt. St. Michelle.
Day 9, MT. ST. MICHELLE- LISIEUX- PARIS
After breakfast, continue to the town of Lisieux, the home of St. Therese of Lisieux whom Pope Pius X called “the Greatest Saint of Modern times.” Her extraordinary love for God and service to humanity comes alive as you visit the Basilica Cathedral of St. Peter, and Les Buissonets, her family home. On display are relics, clothing, and personal objects belonging to the “Little Flower.” View the statue depicting the Blessed Virgin who smiled at St. Therese during an ecstasy before curing her illness. Combine your prayers in the Carmel Chapel with the Carmelite sisters, just as St. Therese did before her death in 1897. Dinner and overnight in Paris.
Day 10, PARIS
After breakfast drive to the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal to celebrate mass. We will see the incorrupt body of St. Catherine Laboure whose guardian angel led her to the chapel where the Blessed Virgin displayed a vision of the miraculous medal and later the green scapular wherein the Blessed Virgin promised bountiful graces for all the wearers of this. See the Church of St. Vincent de Paul. Continue the panoramic tour of this beautiful city, which includes the Champs Elysees, L’Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower and visit Notre Dame Cathedral. Dinner and overnight in the most spectacular city on earth.
Day 11, PARIS-CHARTES- NEVERS-PARIS
After breakfast, travel to Chartres and visit the famous Chartres Cathedral, one of Europe’s most celebrated shrines and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Nevers. St. Bernadette lived for 12 years as part of the congregation of the Sister of Nevers after taking the veil in 1867. Throughout her life she suffered and eventually died from asthma, at age 35. We will visit the convent of St. Gildard where St. Bernadette’s incorrupt body reposes. Then, we return to Paris for dinner and overnight
